I would recommend calling a few dealers and getting put on a list if their mark-up is reasonable. We did that and got a Bronco really quick and actually got a few calls after the fact as well.

Can't tell you from experience since I'm from Texas. I just called around and asked their markups and noped out of anything above 5k. The sales people put me on a list for rejected orders / dealer orders.
Once we actually got a callback, we haggled about 3k extra on our trade in to make up for the cost.
For used you can check carvana and CarMax frequently, but those are about 10k over.
