Have a BD and hate, hate, hate the MGV seats. Hot and sticky mess, incredibly unpleasant in the 80s even in the dry socal climate. Had neoprene on my Wtangler and absolutely loved it. Looking to get neoprene on the Bronco but want to retain access to the factory molle panels on the BD. @Mabett used to have something like this but it is no longer available. All currently available neoprene seats cover up the factory molle panel. There are PU "leather" seats from a few vendors that work with the factory molle panel but PU leather is just as bad, if not worse, than MGV.

Offers or pointers to on-market solutions are appreciated. Don't need a full set, can even live with driver seat only if necessary.

In the same boat as well. First year owner and as summer time rolls in learning just how painful the MGV can be with tops off.

The best I could come up with is to buy the $150 IAG seat covers and modify them myself to cut out for the rear MOLLE panel and then tuck under the panel mount.

Ultimately I got this which does the job for me. Not perfect but good enough

They have the cheaper neoprene and also the legit wetsuit neoprene.
But they cover the molle panel on the back of the seat and I want to preserve that. Helps me tie down plastic bins with camping gear in the back. Ford interior designers really shit over themsleves by providing almost zero tieoff points on the seatbacks. The ones that are there are OK when the seats are up, but completely useless when the seats are down because you are prone to put stuff right on top of them. Many other vehicles have reinforeced tieoff points right where the latch that releases the seatback but the Bronco only has flimsy, poorly attached plastic there.

When choosing custom covers for my badlands bronco I have these options. I haven't seen the final product, but sounds like they don't cover that section.

Also those tie downs points you speak of are designed for car seats and to comply with those regulations. But I agree there should be additional (and better accessible) tie downs when the seats are laid down.

Interesting, I had not noticed these options. Thank you for the tip. What does 50/50 bucket mean though? The rear split on the Bronco is 60/40

Thanks. They have a 20% coupon that expires today and have 30 day return privileges. I will probably order and worst case waste a few bucks on return shipping. Now I have to figure out what material to order. Spacemesh is tempting because they claim it is "cool." Neosupreme is probably my choice because it is advertised as the tightest fit. I don't plan on going topless in the mud so the full water proofiness of Neoprene is not needed, plus I have the MVG underneath to take care of that.

Update: Neosupreme is out. too many reviews that say the fabric separates from the liner. So it is spacemesh or spartanshield. Spacemesh look kinda flimsy,

I bet they will have another 20% coupon tomorrow as well. I would make sure that custom ordered covers are returnable.

I will call them tomorrow. I wish they sold front and back separately.

They do. You're probably just reading their site wrong, it's a little confusing. I'm sure if you call and order they will set you up.

I have been considering getting some covers myself, or at least for the summer. I would only need the front seats as I pretty much always have two car seats in the back.

Make sure to post some pics if you end up ordering some.
