The most recent constraints list includes a provision for "regional constraints". Being a cynic: I assume it's a way to leave Ford latitude to limit allocations to the dealerships that have too many reservations.

Sounds like a perfect way for ford to dictate where certain broncos go. It’s just another way to screw people over.

“Regional constraint” sounds like code for allocation reassignment.
That's what I'm thinking. In a few days/weeks,Ford will announce:
"Due to consumer requests, they've decided to put more weight on commodities. And, BTW, there are regional constraints that line up exactly with the previous allocation changes. No connection, we swear. "

Ford uses the term regional constraint across their entire lineup for years now. In normal times with no production constraints, it lets them direct stock orders to where they're most needed. For example, a 2wd open diff F150 isn't going to sell for shit in Pennsylvania in November, but it'll sell fine in the South or Southwest, so they regionally constrain that.

For the bronco, I think even though we see glimpses of regional constraints leaked, they've been the same nationwide. Ford continues to use the terminology to keep it consistent throughout their platform

Regional constraint could mean limiting heated steering wheel (which means Lux package) to northern climates and leaving Lux temporarily unavailable in Hawaii

So it’s a dealer lottery, just another version of the allocation lottery. Ford really overthinks reservations, orders and lottery winners.
