Wtf is the point of this cockpit cover?

Edit: I learnt it only works with the soft top fully off. Started the return and purchasing the rain guard version now. Thanks for everyone’s help.

Yes. It should be used with the top completely removed.

It fits tightly when top and doors are off. A bit of a pain to get around the mirrors. I use mine to keep condensation out of the interior. I Don’t think it will endure rain though.
