I honestly do not think a signed purchase agreement makes a difference...It all boils down to honor and integrity.
Perhaps. Perhaps not. I had a signed purchase agreement and when my shitty dealer tried adding a mark up when the car was in enroute I flatly told them "fuck no, I'm not an idiot. I'm not paying any form of markup." They went back and forth being 'nice' and lowering the markup. Eventually I got the car at the purchase agreement price, which was MSRP and the first time I paid MSRP for a new car. If they pressed the issue, I would have made a few calls to... I don't even know who... to see if I had any recourse to force the issue, and if I didn't I had no problem just walking away.

Dealers with integrity may attempt to buy you out of your order but not “steal” it from you by trying to make you pay 10k over original agreement.

There is no price protection. I worked for Ford till May this year, and they stopped PP the end of April of 2023. So happy I left that company
That's a flat out lie.
It not Lie, go call other dealers. Good luck
Except that I bought my HE in September and go both my private offer for the Model Year Transition rebate plus the Retail Price protection that covered the in model year price increase. But what do I know.

Purchase agreements mean something.

The Utah Department of Commerce opened litigation against dealerships that ignored signed purchase agreements. The dealerships settled every single time.

Wyatt Johnson Ford is well known for their shitty tactics on Soldiers from Fort Campbell and have been threatened to be blacklisted several times for taking advantage of young service members.

Go in there with a lawyer and someone from the media. Even if it's just a couple friends in suits acting. Don't roll over, persist. Never give up, they try to wear you down. You are the person that ordered the Bronco. They can't just sell it to somone else. You tell them you're going to wait until you get the agreed upon price if it takes a year. But in the future - get any pricing in writing. I did, and I was in the first run of 2021s. Trust but verify? No way, mistrust and document.

Man, do I feel your pain. All the ideas from 5 pages of posts do nothing to make you feel better. But sometimes you just gotta do something. There were a number of good ideas. Any local TV news stations care to take it up? Walk in there with a camera crew and see what happens.

I hate to sound negative, I do like my bronco but good design, not great and regrettably poor build quality. It's far and away a better vehicle than the jeep if only it had a better level of quality in both build and parts. Best of luck, but if they screw you..... SCREW BACK. The sidewalk is public property, bring a sign and pack a lunch. You can do 10k in damage to their bottom line in a few hours.

I'd wait for the GSM in the parking lot after work.
He'd need that extra $10k when I was done with him.

A dealer near me has about 30 Broncos, 7 of them Raptors, so I don't think they're too hard to find anymore. The Heritage model might be a bit more desirable but if you pay over MSRP it will be like burning money. Dealer probably has someone else lined up they think will pay that price.

At the end of the day, you either get it or you don't right? You can always walk-away if your dealer tries to fuck around. Best advice is to pick from that list of dealers that won't screw their customers.

That said, Fuck this dealer and all those like them. I'm rooting for ya OP, give em hell!
