For $500? The film alone cost considerably more than that.
No. But I did get both PPF and ceramic over that.

Maybe I didn't have appropriate context for your post when I read it. Apologies.

There are a handful of XPEL shops within an hour of me so I sent requests for estimates. So far, they all came in priced around the same. It is not a cheap job but damn, the XPEL stealth looks amazing.... plus the protection benefits. I'm planning to bite the bullet and get it done.

No problem...just wanted to clarify so others didn't think that was possible. You will have the best protection possible and easy clean up with both. Enjoy!

As reference, I sent quote requests out on Yelp and got back a handful of quotes ranging between $4,750 and $5,500. BTW, my bronco will be a 2-door. I'm not sure how much of an impact that would have on pricing.

I opted for a full wrap in Xpel Stealth satin / matte PPF (don't ask about what it cost - it was stupid (but I love it)).

Also did Photosync tint, and CP Gold ceramic treatment on the PPF/windows.

My wallet is a lot lighter. But I have a 1 of 1 Bronco at least for a few months.

Overall, I am a fan. Very little coloring difference, but there's less glare, and I think that helps the lines stand out. IMHO.

Plus, my bronco will be parked outdoors 24/7 so I ought to get my money's worth from the Xpel and ceramic.

Some bonus pics - and yes, you can still see the sparkle. Pics don't do it justice.

not yet sure what to do. my 2 dr badlands won't show up for a long time. it's my last new car, life vehicle if you will, & I want to make it last. I want the film, but at $4600 on top of the nearly $60k up front, I'm not sure of the value. on one hand, it'll be garaged and probably won't be driven more that 3k miles a year. On the other, 20 years from now, I want it to look great. my dad's suv is 20 years old, always garaged, low miles, looks great. but at 94, he really doesn't care anymore.
or, $4600, I could stroke the motor of my '73 mach1, which I drive 500 miles a year.
ok its not a problem, just a dilemma.

Haven't asked. I think I'd have a hard time getting it covered - but don't know.

I wonder if homeowner's would cover it . . .
FWIW, I had full XPEL PPF installed on my daughter's SUV. She was recently in a minor fender bender requiring the rear bumper to be replaced. The full cost of replacing that section of PPF was covered by the other driver's insurance without any haggling or debate.

That looks AMAZING!
Thanks! I was a bit worried about going with the Satin finish but...I'm loving the look and knowing I have full paint protection for how much those MTs throw rocks is a worry saver.

I almost went with Area51 but have a Carb Gray BL just like OP @Zeke013, due to arrive in about 10 days. There's a shop 5 miles from me that does XPEL work, I may have to talk to them and consider forking over more money. Can't get over how good these came out, the Area 51 is such a difference, and like OP said the photos may not do justice to the gray.
