Any insight on if this is less scratch-resistant than the regular clear XPEL film?
Same as the other one, including self-healing.

YES! that's what I've been looking for. I wanted a less metallic matte grey when I was ordering, but I went with Carb Grey hoping to paint it later. Thanks for the post.

I opted for a full wrap in Xpel Stealth satin / matte PPF (don't ask about what it cost - it was stupid (but I love it)).

Also did Photosync tint, and CP Gold ceramic treatment on the PPF/windows.

My wallet is a lot lighter. But I have a 1 of 1 Bronco at least for a few months.

Overall, I am a fan. Very little coloring difference, but there's less glare, and I think that helps the lines stand out. IMHO.

Plus, my bronco will be parked outdoors 24/7 so I ought to get my money's worth from the Xpel and ceramic.

Some bonus pics - and yes, you can still see the sparkle. Pics don't do it justice.

I think that looks SWEET. I'd love to be able to afford that! Nice wrap.

Most detailing places will do it. Prices range significantly, often based on skill.

I went top shelf . . .

$5-$7K is pretty normal to cover every body panel.
I just had a first quote here in SLC for Xpel PPF stealth on my 2 door (that arrives this week)...$10k. From what I've read $5-$7 is typical. Do you agree? No sure what could drive a 50% to 100% premium.

Yep. I wouldn't pay that.

Mobile experts in Canton, Ohio quoted me $4500 for the Xpel Stealth...That was for a 2DR.

If you haven't bought your Bronco yet I would consider talking price with your dealer. We got our Ceramic coating for $500 at time of purchase. They started out at $1500.

But this Wrap does look really nice. I love it.
Ceramic coating is not what the OP got. He got a paint protection film (PPF) applied more similar to a wrap but with more protective qualities. Ceramic coating will not protect against rock chips and scrapes and is applied coating that will make dirt not stick to paint as much. Also makes washing easier. PPF is much more expensive. $500 to $1000 is pretty standard for full vehicle Ceramic coating so you didn't do bad if it was applied well.

I actually got both.
