Like @BigMeatsBronco said, some limb riser cables would have been awesome to have.

I am going order up a set and keep them stashed in my off-road gear kit before my next trip.

Won't completely solve the overgrowth and overhang problem but will def help.

Given the inland hurricane weather we've been having here in DFW lately, I might throw some on for the next couple months... lol

You can not beat the PNW for adventures as there are so many forest service roads to explore. With our rainy spring, the forests are so lush right now. Curious though, how were the bugs with all the recent rain?

The bugs were not that bad. I expected worse since it rained for almost 2 weeks straight before my trip. It was not the bug feeding and attack fest I expected, which was nice!

My old stomping grounds! Spent many Autumn nights out there in the Gifford-Pinchot... mostly getting skunked by elk. Both days of summer are absolutely beautiful out there...
