What’s up everyone - starting a build thread for my Bronco that’ll hopefully be delivered late July/early August.

It’s an Antimatter Blue 4-door Outer Banks with the 2.3L, MIC top, Lux package, and Navy Pier cloth. Functional upgrades are the Advanced 4x4 with rear locker, Modular bumper, and Aux switches. For me, this seemed like a great blend of capability and comfort, especially since I’d get much more use out of the big screen and adaptive cruise than the Sasquatch package (even though it looks so damn cool).

Already have some mods in mind, starting with wheels and some beefier 33” tires. I’ll post whatever I do here and on my Instagram page, @Blue.Bronco (www.instagram.com/blue.bronco), so follow along wherever.

Drove a 4-Door Lightning Blue First Edition at a Ford employee drive event yesterday. We spent 15-20 mins on the trails at Holly Oaks ORV Park in Michigan. I've never off-roaded before and the obstacles all looked challenging, but the Bronco handled them no problem. Was a great experience and it got me even more amped up for my own Bronco. Picked up my Bronco today. Great experience at Royal Oak Ford. Detailed nicely after ~3 months at Dirt Mountain. No shenanigans on price.

First mods ordered!

Starting slow with some side marker and taillight insert tint from StickerFab (use code bluebronco5 for a 5% discount).

Also ordered some Husky rubberized floor mats from @RealTruck. Hopefully those come in before we take the Bronco off-roading this weekend.

Next month, looking to add the fogs for the modular bumper and KO2s

Ordered some LEDs on Black Friday and they're finally starting to show up. Diode Dynamics A-Pillar lights and 6" SAE Fog Amber LED strips. Both kits from 4x4TruckLEDs. Have had a lot of housework to take care of this past week, so haven't installed. Hopefully will have time this coming weekend to get the lights on and also the StickerFab marker tints I've been slacking on.

LED pod lights for Mod Bumper from ZROADZ are ordered, but have not arrived, yet.

Also, got front window tints to match factory privacy glass. Midnight Protective Films in Troy, MI did a great job using 20% ceramic tint. Highly recommend them, if you're in the area.

Next up will likely be a stubby antenna, 33" tires, and ceramic coat

Aux Switch wiring made this really easy to install. Threaded 1 wiring harness through behind the headlights to reach the bumper fogs and 1 through the leaf screen to reach the A-pillars. @Middleton_Sasquatch Youtube videos were really great for guidance. Only struggle was getting the power wire crimped to the aux wiring in the small space by the hood hinge. Really wish @Ford Motor Company gave a couple extra inches of wire there.

Also added Bartact grab handles for the front row. "Midnight" color matches Antimatter Blue pretty well. Another easy install - just two 8mm bolts per side.

I have this Bumper LED kit from ZROADZ that's ready to install, it's just so damn cold in Michigan now and my garage isn't heated, so probably gonna sit on it until the Spring. Same with my reflector tint.

In the meantime, just figuring out wiring since they didn't come with a plug-and-play harness like @Diode Dynamics and @4x4TruckLEDs.com provided. It came with a few splitters and then an switch harness. Probably gonna cut out the relay and switch part and re-connect the fuse and end points

If that has 2-Pin Deutstch (DT) connectors, just get this harness. It's designed for our triple fog kits but we have plenty of people who have used these on 6 lights on bumpers (just tie back the extra slack).

Yea that looks a lot cleaner. The connectors are the same, so it should work. How long are the wires?
