Dang, then what the heck is going on with mine? Been over 2 months now. Guess I'll call yet again in a few days.

Since mid October or when the 2022 order banks opened up I have been on the phone with Ford customer care about different 10 occasions trying to get my reservation moved to another dealership. What I discovered is these customer agents are clueless in this process, they try but they have no clue. Upper management at Ford is not providing these people any support or any clarification on how this process is supposed to take place and of course Ford is doing a poor job of communicating this to these frontline customer agents so when you call that toll free number you will get a lot of promises that they really cannot fulfill. If I am successful at this I will come back and update this and let people know how I did it, until then I'm just not sure if what I'm doing is working.

Figured I would join the fun. Ordered on 7/17/20 with Granger. On 10/14/21 notified the Bronco Specialist team of wanting to transfer for lack of Granger allocations. Was told 5-7 days. contacted them 2 weeks later and was told "we will let you know soon, don't call us".
today (after my 4th call back) was told "your case is closed". When I asked why or could I talk to a supervisor was told "it will be escalated to a supervisor, hold on" I was then given a Ford Satisfaction Survey before it hung up. I called back and after being transferred twice was told a supervisor would call me in 5-7 days. I told her "I guarantee that won't happen, that there are 19 pages of problems with this process on a blog site" I don't think it impressed her, but she said she was sorry.
Like the rest of you, I am just trying to buy a Bronco.

Hey, just a side note: I own a 16 F-150 that I took in for the door hinges not working when its cold. Ford issued a recall but my local dealer in Florida said they don't have the parts as it is not cold here. It took my wife 2 days of phone calls to try and make an appointment to get it fixed before we travel up north for Christmas.

So why do I want another Ford? I either have no life or I must be a masochist

Your case was closed without action or you were denied a transfer?

I had that issue a couple weeks ago too where the rep claimed that the case was closed (after absolutely ZERO communication from Ford on the request) so I had to open another request but I'm not so sure these guys know what they're talking about half the time because a handful of the reps I talk to claim there is absolutely no process to transfer dealers, at least not once you've converted your res to an order.

No action on my part or notification from them except my phone call asking for progress
Thanks. Did they say your transfer request was denied?

Speculation on my part, but I’m not sure they actually move orders. My Ford.com account still shows the original dealer, but I do have an order with the new dealer. If I get a Bronco, I’m not sure I care.

I called this morning. Was on hold for about 10 minutes and spoke with Ann first. She then connected me with Crystal on the Bronco team. I gave her my case number and she said my new dealer would be reaching out to me within a week. I then texted my contact at my new dealership and he had not heard from Ford as of yet. Crystal said my transfer should be completed in about a week......

Again, a new bit of info from my weekly call.

Today I was advised that Ford sent my request for a dealer change to my new dealer on November 19th. Have emailed to confirm and will advise the forum if this was actually true.

She couldn't tell me anything if Ford had contacted my old dealer.

I am just getting numb from this but will keep trying.

Good luck all!

so only 2 confirmed transfers with their new dealer in the last couple weeks (of course with no communication from Ford they had to call into marketing center again it sounds like)?

I'm still waiting/hoping 🤞🏼.. anyone else have an update?

My new dealer advised they have received nothing on the reservation change.

Called Ford today, but the rep was pretty clueless and didn't want to waste more time with her.

I'll try again another day.

A week and a half ago Ford said my request would be complete in 1-2 weeks. My new dealer just needed to complete the process. Emailed my new dealer again this morning. He insists he has heard nothing from Ford about my dealer change, but he did say Fridays are usually when he gets the most communication. Maybe tomorrow??? That will be exactly 8 weeks from when I started the process that Ford said would take 3-5 days.
