YE$!

I plan to get one in a few years after the warranty on my 2021 Mach 1 is out. Gonna make a 429 Mach 1. with a real Mach 1 motor.

$8000 is not bad at all for a pushrod small block ford v8!

Chevy LS3 6.2 is $7,500 from Chevy. So very comparable.

GODZILLA SWAP THE WORLD!!!!!!
yeah, 8150 is a good price I think for that.

Really if it proves easy to modify and build big power, I could see ford taking a big chunk of the LS crate sales. Its a compact big block. If the 7 speed is available aswell, this combo could end up in my 4x4 custom bodied van project one day.

I'll agree also. I have over $5k in my 347, maybe 6 and it was built about 4 years ago, so I'm sure it would be over 6k today.
10 years ago i put well over $6k in a 306 for my maverick that made godzilla horspower and coyote torque. 8000 isnt bad at all in comparison especially if there is any kind of warranty.

the block is similar in size to the old 351w!
and there a few people already pumping out over 600hp with just a big cam and intake! slap a blower on that and booom 1000hp baby!

cant find dimensions of the 7.3 anywhere. But here’s the 351w/5.8L as a comparison.
