not including accessories.
(the ls is actually MUCH wider with accessories because the alternator is WAY out in right field)

but yes the turbos are included on the ecoboost.

throttle body included
Exhaust headers included
Maybe I'm missing something, but they measured 23 for the LS and almost 29 for the coyote. Maybe the exh headers don't add any more width to a coyote, but the exh on an LS can be manipulated for fit on overall width, not so with the heads on a coyote.

YOU GOT IT. Headers on the LS3 make it WIDE! Also just looked. The ls1 is also with out headers so let me add that. Ls1 is 26.5 with headers and 27.5 Tall with intake

Which front axle setup you have? Don't think that weird setup with 2 driveshafts will hold up if that's what you have.
No Vemco V drive here but would have been cool if the diffs had been dana 50 TTBs instead of the Dana 44s they used. The V drive if all was operation well split the torque so it would only need to hand half the torque as long as the splitter survived.

But mine is a HD Dana 44 with radius arms. The whole body is junked on it from the fire. But I never throw away a good chassis. So I plan to strip it, clean it, paint it, put a leaf sprung Dana 60 under it. Full size vans do well with leafs up front and good shocks. I have been thinking about building a steel skeleton in with lost of flat planes to skin with aluminum sheet. Make it bright, gleaming, and spacey. Then do up the interior with shag. vinyl, and lots of soft stuff. If I do the math on a performance rebuild for the parts of the 460 that are still good(long block) and this 7.3 comes up similar I may just go with it.

I just want a mild 600 HP blown big block in a shag filled spaceship van, that can go offroad. I think anyone of sound mind and body would do the same! ? ?‍? ;)

But at least it is something you can work with I guess is why the LS swaps are so popular. Think I mentioned before but my buddy owns half this business.

We were just talking this morning again about him doing a coyote harness (he keeps saying he wants to do it). I told him to do the 7.3, as I think that is going to be way more popular going forward. So may be another option over Fords harness/control pack, at some point.

hmmm....iron block noted to handle 2k hp, forged crank, alum heads and 8k. By the time you go dart or equal block and forged crank and a H/C/I combo you are really splitting hairs on the price point. Myself, I would be very tempted to go with a new crate and utilize the money ford spent on engineering this monster.

Might be a good project to replace the 94gt's 306 I built 15+yrs ago. Have the daughter help as she has already said at 6 "she wants the black car, can we take the black car out, can I help you work on the black car?". I told her if she wants it when she is 16 she will have to learn how to work on it.

Godzilla will be the next Fox 5.0 or LS it will get swapped into every classic. It's about the size of a normal SBF, but it's NOT a 351 it's 440+. Anything with a small block is fair game. ;)

Think that highly depends upon transmission options. Many would be fine with stand alone eng computer, but want man trans or the stock (usually smaller) auto's.

10r140 bolts up. And I imagine a mustang 6 speed manual bolts up easy enough.
Now that it’s a crate motor. I’m sure bell housings will be popping up all over

Basically if the aftermarket supports it with internals, heads, and intakes. It will be king! Im sure AdvanceAdapters or someone will set it up for everything. Put a Jericho behind it with a gearvendors OD and you Mach 1 could shift hard and top out around 200.

Sure would be nice for Ford to challenge the aftermarket LS scene, finally.
