Would someone explain to me how adding $44,698 to the MSRP is a VALUE PRICE? I think that $81,444 is a VALUE PRICE.

Maybe. What some dealers are doing is buying the new Lightnings from buyers who are unsure about the purchase, then reselling it. At this time, it is not a new car, not an ADM, it is a used/pre-owned vehicle.

I ordered a Lightning, It arrived, I drove it and really didn't like it. More importantly, my wife did not like it. Instead of me buying and reselling it, the dealer bought it from me.

My understanding from the dealership I worked with, they will not sell for above MSRP on new vehicles as it will risk their allocations on future vehicles.

If Ford would enforce that it would be a step in the right direction

I had the opportunity to get one, but it was a heavily optioned version and I just don’t have that kind of money. I wish I found it.
