That's really likely me.

Just drive it.

Be the coolest dad in the school drop-off line for a day or two.
Sounds like my plan, except I'd surprise my nephew when I pick him up in the future

That's why I said "for a day or two" lol
Then Toyota will bring back the FJ40 and 10 years later, it'll be available again

Fair enough.
.....everyone would know its still a Bronco LOL without the badges right...
I took of the badges of my Yukon Denali but everyone still knows what is is
took it off my HD tank and people still know its a Harley ... so you really don't look that special
I'll be keeping mine on maybe blacked out but it'll stay on, call it pride of ownership of a legend reborn
do not see it as advertising either as you have already advertised and shown deep support for the brand
by giving them your money...now a tee shirt with random logo stuff I agree with...

There are so many unknowns it's hard to define this list, but here are some ideas if the stock variants are sub-par.

Suspension + wheels & tires.

Bumpers + lights

Roof rack for bikes/paddle boards/kayaks + storage for fishing/hunting/camping gear ( & a rooftop tent if I can afford it someday)

Neoprene seat covers + Weathertech mats

Lockable storage

Tow straps and recovery boards (ahem, for other people of course)

Hitch mount for a hammock (until I can afford a rooftop tent)

First mod though will be to "strip down", throw the Yeti in the back, and head to some back-country.

First mod I do on any vehicle I get is a short throw dip stick. They are all too long for my liking
Don’t forget swapping the motorcraft blinker fluid with royal purple!

-lights and mudflaps for sure will be the first thing
-Second set of rims and winter tires will also happen within the first year

Beyond that will depend on what it ends up coming with stock:
-If I can't keep the rear diff locked at speed in stock form, adding an override switch for that
-If it doesn't come stock with a front LSD, that will be going in as soon as there's one available.
-Same story for some good bypass shocks if it doesn't come with them
I really like your potential list of mods!!! Didn't know there was a way to use an override switch for the diff lock to keep locked at speed!!! Good info, I'll have to look into that!!!
