Your VIN number and Tracking Production Of Your Bronco

I spoke with Ford today about the protocol on tracking your Bronco's production. Everyone (Those who placed an order before March 2021) will be getting a VIN number within the next two weeks. Once you get your VIN you can use that number along with your four digit order code (from your dealer order summary) to track your 2021 order. The link to enter your VIN and the four digit Order Code numbers is :

On another note the only delay of a 2021 order was requesting a black top vs the MIC. No other parts supply issues were given.

Everyone who placed their order before March 2021 will get a VIN and later a production time of completion. Then you can follow the tracking during production to delivery.

Well, I believe you. Your info obviously came from the Department of Redundancy Department, and you know that's the department in charge of running the show.

Kinda goes in the face of getting an estimated build time in May and then deciding if you wanted to drop some hard to get items to get it sooner. But if they are confident they have enough parts to build 52,000 then I guess its not necessary.

Contacted my Bronco specialist today and he said they won’t know production schedules until May sounds like I am going to surprise him again when I tell him to expect my Bronco in X month. He wasn’t even aware there were local events to SEE a Bronco!

We were told in another thread that SOME buyers will get this information for the first wave of production. Not EVERYONE as you're saying.

This is how I see it going once I get a VIN and start tracking it.

Ford: Gives me a VIN
Me: I take VIN and input it on the tracking site
Ford's tracking site outputs: "Stay Tuned!!!"

It sounds like everyone who expects to get a MY21 will get this no matter what and then later they will send the build estimate. I don't see any reason they would assign a VIN to a non build 99 coded MY22 as it will likely change.

this actually sounds pretty doable....heck; if UPS lets you do the same thing to track a bazillion packages, Ford should be able to pull it off on 52,000 Broncos
