I've been requesting x-plan prices and NO ADM in Louisiana at several dealers, so far I've gotten no real responses.. looks like a trip is in order!
Agreed. Apparently the Louisiana dealers do not want to discuss Broncos or your reservations. I had a sales guy reach out to me the morning after I made my reservation. Since then, I can’t get him or any of the sales managers to return a phone call, text, or email. Guess they don’t want to sell any Broncos. I’ve had the same results when I contact any other Louisiana dealer. I’m only trying to find out if they’ll accept x-plan and if there are any additional markups/up-charges. Not one dealer will respond. Their loss now.

Personally it doesn’t matter to me where it ends up...if the best deal is in El Paso then it just gives me 14 hours of quality time with the new bronco.
heh, El Paso is about as far away from me as Granger is.

I am interested in Sewell because of their free delivery. Have you had discussions with them? Should i sign up?
We have not reached out to any dealers as of yet, but several members have pointed us in their direction. If true, free delivery would be a major plus. We will update you guys as soon as we come up with something.

I just want to say two things. First, when I completed the most recent survey one of the questions was about what geographical area of Texas I wanted to do business in. I felt you should have included the option "Don't care". I answered Houston area since that's where I am but it's Texas man. Who doesn't like every part of Texas?

Second, thanks for working this angle for us. I'm grateful for the chance not only to save some money but to possibly meet some damn fine Texas folks.

Respect

I spoke with the person in charge of the Ford Bronco sales @ Shamaley in El Paso, TX. MSRP price with nothing added, they will honor x-plan pricing so long as Ford allows it. He assured me to mark up or dealer add ons, the pricing will match the order from Ford.

I spoke with my wife's cousin yesterday. She works for a large, family-owned company with a number of dealerships in central Texas. She spoke with one of their Ford dealers and he said they would provide free delivery to me in New Mexico if I purchased my Bronco from them. So it seems legit. (The million dollar question is whether I want the first 800 miles on my new Bronco put on by someone other than me.)

Interesting - that brings up a question from the dealers that are offering free delivery. Is it delivered by way of someone actually driving your vehicle to you or being delivered on the back of a truck.

Enclosed transports are the only way to go. Too much risk otherwise.

Yes, this would definitely be a question asked if it were to be worked into the deal. I know for a fact, I would not want my bronco delivered to me by someone driving it. I can’t say for sure, but I would assume the vast majority is with me on this.

I have seen it done either way. I had a Xc90 delivered out of Jersey to me via your typical tractor-trailer auto transport and had my F150 delivered to me via driver from MO.

If delivery is part of the "deal," the method of which will be specified and in writing. Keep in mind, if someone is offering "free delivery" they are going to be less inclined to negotiate on price. I would rather get a good price and coordinate delivery myself if need be.

I asked that. They offer free delivery by one of their employees, who drives the Bronco to my home. Or, I can pay for trailered delivery (open transport, I would think). There are risks involved with both of those, of course, but one puts a lot of miles on your new baby and one doesn't.

That is a good point, but we are trying to get absolute answers, as best as possible, when taking everything into account. If the majority of the buyers are in the south, it would make more sense logistically to try and find a deal in that area. Having said that, we are looking for the best possible deal, so if two dealers match each other deal wise, we would go with the one closer to the majority.

Good point. But X-Plan solves this.
