Im in. i have my reservation at Leif Johnsons Super store in Buda. I am told they are able to get ordered vehicles quick.
you might try working with them.
I have suspensions from dealers who make these kind of remarks ... how can they get them quick, or quicker, when Ford has already said that Broncos will be made/delivered based on when they were ordered.

They're just BSing. When I called that dealer specifically, they didn't know half about the Bronco that forum members here know.

I imagine most the "Bronco Specialists " at dealerships are like that

Follow-up survey completed.

I will buy a Bronco if I can do so without feeling I've been screwed in the process. But, I haven't placed a reservation yet.

Since a response to the survey's question about the dealer with whom one currently has a reservation appears to be mandatory (I answered "pending"), is there any reason that not having a reservation already in place would somehow restrict one's participation in this planned group buy?

P.S. - Everyone should visit the panhandle at least once in their lives. So, I highly recommend arranging this buy with a dealer up here in the Siberia of Texas. ;)

We will only be able to count you in %100 once you have a reservation. Once that happens and you are completely committed to purchase, we will count you in. Otherwise we would be guesstimating how many buyers we have, and we want solid numbers when negotiating with dealers.

I have a question.
I'd signed up for this buyer's group, but have not placed a Bronco reservation with any dealer yet. Should/Do I need to submit a reservation first before this group buy is confirmed?
Yes, you will need a reservation before you are counted as “fully in”.

I would say if you haven't registered by this time, you are looking at getting a Bronco in 2022. I would hurry up and registered as I have heard rumblings of them shutting down the ability to reserve one. I could be wrong, so dont kill the messenger ;-)

In. Have a reservation since Day 1 with Holiday Ford in Whitesboro, they are good on pricing. I've bought 2 F250s and a Raptor from them but they are terrible at communication. We have 2 Bronco reservations with them and they have yet to respond to me. So, good pricing, terrible communication.

Appreciate the clarification.
Shortly after submitting the survey with "N/A" for the reservation number, I had decided to put down $100 for a reservation. How can I update the survey with my newly issued reservation number?

Given that reservations with Ford can be canceled, I’m not sure claiming that a reservation translates into being committed to purchase will carry much weight from a business negotiation standpoint.

That said, after I’ve done a little more research on options such as Granger Ford, I’ll go ahead and register with a dealer.

Would you recommend simply re-submitting the follow-up survey with the updated information? Or, would doing so be problematic for your database?

The tax question comes up a lot and it is a legitimate concern and one we are working to get answered. But the short answer is you will not have to pay taxes in 2 states and will ultimately only be responsible for your states tax rate.
To expand on that, if say you buy a vehicle in ID, the sales tax for vehicles is 6% and you live in TX. In TX, the sales tax is 6.5%. So the buyer from TX pays the difference. I'm not sure how it would work the other way.

One other thought is warranties when purchasing from out of state. This can become a huge legal headache that buyers need to look into before the purchase.

PM me your reservation number and I will get it updated.

Maybe not, but having a reservation tells us as a group that you are more likely to commit to a purchase and are not just filling out a survey for fun.
