Does anyone know if it's possible to modify it so you can also turn on the zone lighting from an upfitter switch rather than going through the menu system?

Not the whole zone lighting itself, but there should be 2 buttons next to the headlight switch that turns on the size mirror zone lights. Not sure if that helps, but I don't use the zone lighting at all since they don't really do much.

There are two buttons near the headlight control dial for the left/right zone lights. They provide zero feedback when you press them and there’s no obvious software overlay that pops up showing what their binary power state is. It’s pretty lousy design IMO but it at least accomplishes some of what you want.

Oh cool, I actually didn't know that. Thank you.

Just went out to test it. That should be good enough for when at camp. Between those and my Baja Designs reverse lights on a switch and ditch lights on a switch can easily light it up.
