Lucks Bronco Build: Wrap Satin/Gloss, BA Tent Rear Roof Rack, Baja Designs, GoRhino Steps, Storage...

Day 1 Order July 13 2020 / Delivery Nov 2021
Originally FE Cactus Grey but unfortunately the FE version did not have many color options. Supreme Wraps Dallas completed the wrap with rails and door jambs in less than 2 weeks. We've been off-roading about 2 weeks after picking it up and camping a few nights while sleeping inside the Bronco. It was sub 20* weather and we were surprisingly fine in a sleeping bag.

Built a custom platform that goes on top of storage drawers to lay flat and had plenty of room for 2 of us to still sleep good. Roof rack (BATents) is solid on top, zero movement. Better than initially expected although Fedex kindly helped us get a few pieces scratched up on the brackets. Love the cockpit cover (Ford accessories 60k points used) for ease of use and not having to put the top on every night. It's not great in the rain at all as expected it will drip through after a while but for clear weather and not having to reinstall the hardtop every time, its been great! Works with the rear shell on or off but definitely is a tight fit on the side mirrors. Will post additional details as I go or for questions...

Did you wrap it in black or AMB??? Pretty funny how AMB always looks black, then someone wants black and it looks blue.

yes wrapped black gloss and satin. Never can tell right away with people having AMB and wrapping stealth, looks black you are right.

gotta say - absolutely love that wrap. I have a 2021 4Runner pro in lunar rock and have been looking at wrap ideas for this year. You have inspired me. The combo of the flat to satin/gloss is really nice and I've always been fond of black or white vehicles. Well done!

3m 2080 material... Gloss and Satin (not matte). Don't have exact color code specs on it though.

Very nice! Are your fog lights individually hooked up to different aux switches?

Thanks. Yep, for now unless I need more switches later. They run on 4,5,6 switches.

I'm using a basic electric hoist from harbor freight.

Mounted it to a supported joist. I got corded controls so I don't lose the remote. Getting the right length straps was key for not having the top be unbalanced and swing around much. I use 8ft straps. I hated leaving the top on the ground with the plastic guide points on bottom of it, they could easily break with any pressure on it.
