that actually sounds pretty decent - is that the 2.7 or 2.3? how much?

*never mind - just saw at the beginning of the video that it states it's the 2.7

I did see in the comments that there's noticeable drone on the highway though...

Start up and idle sounds great!

With the arrival of 8-10 speed auto transmission on the scene now (covering other competitors), I think my days of dual exhaust may have come to an end.
A friend has an F150 with the 10 spd and aftermarket duals. The constant quicker shifting just doesn't have the sound effect of longer, drawn out shifts of a 6 spd...IMHO.

This is obviously my personal opinion, your mileage may vary. Or, its just me getting closer to 50/over the hill and becoming the ol' codger I promised never to be...perhaps a manual is the key to the fountain of youth?

Does anyone make an exhaust that allows a higher flow, but doesn't intentionally sound like a kid's bicycle with a card in the spokes?

Definitely don't want to turn down tips on something like that. It would cause a lot of drone.
Sounds like my 65 Corvair would sound as I tried to cost into my dad's culdesac after coming home late. That had dual thrush glass packs on it.

Personally, it's tough to get a good sound of something with catalytic converters on it, this sounds pretty good. Converters cut some of the frequencies that you would otherwise give the sound we all want. I would try maybe Magnaflow cat back (if they have one) and get the biggest muffler they have that will fit. That might sound good. The larger the muffler the deeper the sound.

As long as the cats are on there you aren't going to move more air than they will. The stock exhaust looks pretty good in relation to flow.

Strange my bronco has a 6 speed transmission (well technically 7 if include crawler):p

But yes I agree with you. Although I was never a fan of exhaust upgrades on auto trans anyways since they like to shift low RPM if they can

To each their own. I've never understood this type of exhaust on this type of vehicle. It also really doesn't sound good to me. Mustangs, Maserati's sound great, but I wouldn't want a Bronco sounding like a sports car, especially if taking it off road.
