New Ford Bronco Return Confirmed by UAW Chairman

Bill Johnson, chairman of UAW Local 900 just provided the first direct confirmation that Ford Motor Company will in fact be reviving the Ford Bronco and it will be produced at the Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, Michigan.

To date, all information about a next-generation Ford Bronco revival have been a collection of balled up rumors, conjecture, unnamed sources and even outright hoaxes. Until now.

The UAW chairman’s comments came in response to, of all people, Republican nominee Donald Trump and his persistent remarks that Ford Motor Company is moving jobs outside of the United States. Trump repeated the claims in the first presidential debate stating, “Ford is leaving. You see that their small car division is leaving. Thousands of jobs leaving Michigan…”

Johnson fired back in remarks to the press:

We hate to see the products go to Mexico, but with the Ranger and the Bronco coming to Michigan Assembly that absolutely secures the future for our people a lot more than the Focus does.
