Ride up Mt. Wachusett in Retro Theme Bronco

Took a ride up the mountain near my house to take a few pics. Not the best lighting and my favorite spots were already used with sunset watchers. I will be doing the top white in the next month or so. when I think bronco I think the classic blue and white combo, so I went with white wheels and classic script badge, and simple two line pinstripe. Painted Bronco Logo, and will do top next. Swapped Base tires for Firestone Destination XT's as the only mod to a manual base. It's a 21' with 189 miles.

It turned out really well! That is a great looking Bronco.

I dig the pin stripe. I’ve always felt those lines were missing something and that is a classy solution.

Looks good! I've seen a few add the pinstripping to the side and think it really adds to retro flair. VB is my color but I'm 99d waiting on a white mod top so looking forward to seeing yours painted out.

Are you going to paint it or wrap it?

I live even closer to Whalom than Wachusett. I even do re-creations of signs as a hobby and these are my most recent projects funny enough. Luckily I'm 44 and old enough to have gotten to go before it shut down.

Plan on Plasti dipping it with spray cans. Just need to clear out the shed to make a spray booth and do it well. I have had great luck with it in the past and it's what is on the wheels.

I am never going to understand how the design team thought it was a great idea to go to market without a white top. Not Mod — like the basic offering should have been MIC Carbonized Gray or MIC Off White. How did they not see this as a primary design requirement?

One of the critical paths to launch should have been white top in full production availability at least for the two doors.

They must’ve spent too much time in Jeep owner focus groups and forgot to hold Bronco enthusiast focus groups. Or maybe they just felt they knew better. This and the script emblem are such huge misses. I just don’t get it.
