That said, on a recent trip, the Wrangler 4XE we rented did have one of those release buttons on the dash. My wife’s Sahara, does have a door, but it does not lock, hence no fancy button.
Uh….keep the F150, ditch the Sport, and get a Bronco. Nothing against the Sport, but I’m not sure what it does better than the Bronco, and the Bronco is going to be 1000% more fun.
I wouldn’t drive 15 minutes to my dealer, let alone across the country, unless I knew my vehicle was there. Especially with what we’ve all learned in the past 3-4 years.
It’s a vehicle. Covered by insurance. Screw Castle Doctrine, if someone is dumb enough to take my truck, they can have it. I’ll just get a new one!
Agree, the slanted soft tops don’t and won’t ever do it for me. I’d love to run a soft top in Safari mode, but the Bestop looks odd since it’s short. Give us a square back soft top, especially if you’re going to charge $$$$$$ for it.
Courtesy Ford outside ATL on I20 had about 10 lined up on the frontage road today as I zoomed past to see customers. I’ve never seen so many anywhere before.
I have it on my F150 and have never used it. Granted, I’ve only owned the truck 2 months, but I’ve never felt the urge to figure out how it works and then use it. I’m pretty good at parking!
