Agree on the doors. They should have gone full-on FJ40 with the rear glass and rear jump seats. They appear aimed at the teen/young adult market. It just feels like a Kia Soul type vibe. I'll give it a look for my 16 year old when it comes out. Low 30's it will be a smash hit - like everything else Toyota is doing. They are killing it.BoF and ICE are a plus. Would rather see it in a 2-dr. Squeezing the 4-drs on an already compact size makes the rear doors useless. Mid-30's MSRP?
I was thinking more in line with the 70 series LC. If Toyota made a 2-dr model with split barn door rear gate and rear window sliders, they would sell everyone that they can make. I'd unload one of my Broncos for it. The BoF is critical.Hasn't a smaller Land Cruiser already been developed?
Beat me to it! I have seen some Suzuki and Pajero/Montero's (especially diesels) that impress me with what they can do. I have some buddies that have some impressive Jeep builds but still enjoy slumming in their Pajero's.Besides the small Suzuki Jimny rabid fanbase, there is also a rabid fanbase for the small Mitsubishi Pajero in the US that this will appeal to.
That was a trim level, not a model.Well.... technically...
Yep, funny they had Ranger and Explorer trim levels too which also ended as model names. That was a trim level, not a model.

An old FJ style on modern drivetrain would fit the bill, but I'm referring to the 2-dr LC 70 series with rear slider windows.Saw this girl last weekend...
If had had two Broncos, I would give one up for something new like this, too.
