I recently changed my tire size and shortly after I received a Powertrain malfunction light, took it to the dealership and they charged me $411 to reprogram the AWD module....reason given was I changed the tire size......now get this, I went from a 255/70R18 to a 275/70R18. That's only a 1" increase in diameter and it "broke" my vehicle. So be warned it's not covered under warranty.

Just my 2 cents

I am running 285/70-17 MT Baja Boss AT's on my 4d BD MT. I personally wouldn't go any larger without switching to 4.70 or 4.88 gearing. I am lifted 1" with 5100's but that was after the tire install. No lift necessary.
