Ok, I hope that my struts are defective and I am not an idiot, but I followed the instructions for mounting the hardware but when I went to attach the struts, they are too long by about 3 inches and will not compress, at all, thus they don't fit. What am I missing here?

Make sure you install the hood attachment in the right hole.

Yeah the guy below this has it…took me a minute to figure it out too..lift hood higher then attach

Yep, come on guys, did all that. The Struts do not fit or they are defective. Already started the return.

Does the hood have to be open to get the hp bump?

These look identical to the Redline Tuning struts. I got the Redlines and pulled the stickers off. Look factory. I would buy whichever is cheaper and not spend any extra money for a brand.

Wrong. Ford performance brand is the only one that adds hp. I put mine on the dyno. Make sure the branding is facing out too.

Same here but was getting the same non fitment warning. Says they fit all from 2021-2023 except Raptor and Everglades.

Is the Deep Well needed ?
