Interesting! This probably explains why my Bronco has disappeared from tracking for 4 days on the Burlington Northern Santa Fe line! Hopefully it reappears soon.

Very insightful testimony. Our Bronco got loaded onto a CSX train on May 9th for a 694 mile ride to Massachusetts. 24 days later and it is still on the railcar slowly making its way here. CSX says it will be to East Brookfield MA by 4:30 p.m. tomorrow, then I need to wait for a truck to move it the last 75 miles. Thank You Mr. Burkhart, at least now I understand why it has taken so long. Great post ByrdDogX, Thx much for the info.

Don't mean to be that guy, but just a heads up. Mine did the same thing out of MO, showed it departing, then poof for almost a month. Then it magically appeared at the dealership one day. Best of luck.

Running fewer larger trains has been a trend across the entire RR industry. Interesting how they have been hamstrung by the scenarios that he described. Thankfully we do not run 200 car trains.
