See, while I can certainly appreciate not wanting BMW switchgear/electronics/etc and the potential repair costs associated, I think the B58 straight six is one of the best engines you can get in a $50k sports car. Sounds great, smooth as silk, delightfully linear torque curve for a turbocharged engine, and most models of it are making nearly 400 hp at the crank despite what BMW says, and it does all this while turning out 30+ mpg on the highway and has proven quite reliable.A BMW motor in sheet metal clothing.
Browsing the Toyota Pressroom site and saw this PDF document (located on the right sidebar) on the 2023 Toyota GR Supra page which not only confirms that the manual will be priced at the exact same, but the A91-MT being priced at not much more than the premium. I haven't seen anything officially released for 2023 pricing or posted here yet, but it's conveniently located on the Toyota website so maybe everyone already knew. Thoughts?
