While doing my least favorite Bronco chore, removing wheels to clean out mud from wheels and suspension. I noticed these empty brackets just inboard and above the rear trailing arms. I’m assuming they are for a component my non sas BD does not have so just curious if anyone knows what would be attached to them.

Rear sway bar end links. You’ll find similarly unused brackets on the rear axle which mount the rear sway bar bushings.

That’s what I was thinking but wasn’t sure. At least I’m not missing anything I would want lol

There’s many threads on here about rear sway bars. They are now factory additions to all Sasquatches and BRaptors. They do have off road merits. I added one to my '22 2dr BaseSas 2.7 and love it if for nothing other than the huge reduction in brake dive. All speed stability and cornering were also greatly improved. My Bronco currently sees more pavement, cornering and high speed driving than off roading so I probably appreciate the benefits more.

Mine sees mostly highway as well but when I’m off road it’s mostly forest trails, fire roads and rocks so no high speed stuff. Only handling complaint I have ever had on the highway is the back of the 2dr likes to hop sideways a couple inches when hitting a bump at 80

I added RSB on my Badlands and it made some noticeable difference.
