I've done it a handful of times, with a DIY cargo floor leveling platform. Works especially well during winter camping, as I still need to get my heated tent setup dialed in.

Surprisingly decent in the rear area when you get settled in.

If this Bronco is a rocking…I’m probably up coughing bc my sleep apnea choked me.

6’3” and the trick is to put your head at the tailgate and your feet either on the center console or push the front seats all the way forward.

So for the non-tall among, you CAN sleep in most places if you are tall(er), as long as you adopt a position or five.

Say...

- Fetal
- Grub Worm
- Jackknife
- Broken Starfish
- "sorry my foot's in your face"
- "your foot stinks"
- Backwards Sidebender
- The Yogi (crossed legs don't lay flat for everyone... that's Backwards Indian Style)
- Fallin out th' back
- The Dropover
- Double Socks (since they're hanging)
- The Wheelbarrow
- Armpit S
- Static X

Nearly all those are totally comfortable and will help you get a goods night's rest. Especially if you toss and turn. (y)

I literally just described, and you quoted, how to do it without any of that.

I was being funny... 🤡

I have slept in my 2dr since then (few weeks ago) and with the DeepSleep I will say I got a much better night's sleep compared to my friend who pitched a tent. I still wouldn't say it was super comfortable, but it was quiet and dry! For me I used a firm pillow to "extend" the DeepSleep mattress about a foot farther up the seatback. Wasn't too bad. Probably wouldn't want to do that too many nights, but it was better than I expected. YMMV.
