Hi- 4 door Wildtrak Hardtop here.

my rear passenger window just started to bounce back. I go to close it and it reaches the top and bounces back down almost to full open. It does this with auto up and manual up.

I found this fix in another thread but doesn’t work for me.

Any other suggestions?

This happens to me pretty often. Only workaround I've found is to get the window to its max closed position by quickly tapping the window switch when it's near the top, and then just leaving it like that and it'll usually fix itself after a day or two or a couple on/off cycles.

Hope this helps

Yeah thanks! I’ve kinda done the same. Manually get it as close to the top as I can.
I’ll give it a few days.

Its dust and dirt getting in the track. I have that same problem. I live in the desert, and as soon as I wash it and clean the top of the window and the top track its fine.

The reset procedure in the linked how to above might have to be done several times. I swear I've had to do it 5-6 times in a row to get my windows working at times. Also good to know about dust and stuff in the track, I think I've had more issues in hot, dry weather.

I also think these things are pretty tight when new, and loosen up over time. Will be interesting to see if I have to do the re-learn procedure as often next summer.

When mine does this... & different windows too.... I put it up without removing my finger off the button....hold for 5 or so seconds... and its reset. Although it may happen again shortly thereafter or way later down the road... but the hold for 5 works.
