Hi. I need to put a lift and mobility scooter on my Bronco for my parents. Curious if your lift came with a long bar to reach the hitch receiver, or did you use an extender? Also, do you know the total weight of the scooter and lift? Thanks!
Just got a Blackvue B-130X Power Magic Ultra Battery Pack for my BlackVue camera system. Any recommendations on where to mount this in my '21 OBX 4-door? Thanks!
Seems that the speed limit that used to display on the dash was from whichever navigation you were using (Android Auto/Google Maps, Apple CarPlay/Apple Maps, Ford SYNC Navigation), so that would determine the accuracy. Google Maps is correct maybe 95% of the time, in my experience.
Mine always showed the speed limit from Google Maps (via Android Auto), but that's not always 100% accurate. I'd say it is accurate 95% of the time, and usually is wrong where the speed limit changes on the same road. Yes, I can get the speed limit from Google Maps from the infotainment...
Funny. Sometimes my entertainment center will switch from Sirius/XM to Spotify on my Android phone for no reason. Happens for a couple of days, even if I force stop Spotify on my phone. Then it goes weeks/months without doing it. You're making me wonder if I'm hitting a button on the...
I have a Masterlock similar to this (although with a thicker bar). It takes a little finagling to get the bar in around the electrical connection box, but it's not too difficult. I put it in with the bar from the left side and the lock on the right (to be able to reach the lock with the key...
This was my list from October 2021. Obviously these may not all be relevant today, but might come in handy:
Roll cage scratches (this was for a soft top where the hardware might contact the roll bars)
Rear left panel/tailgate fitment
Hoses/clamps
Hood alignment
Back of hood catching on plastic...
I agree that they look cheap. If it were a solid metal/plastic piece, I may have kept it. I replaced mine with brushed silver Bronco script badges (matching the brushed silver bucking bronco on the tailgate), and put one OBX badge on the tailgate above the handle. So maybe your survey should...
Sure, if you can't get to the vehicle, not much you can do, except I'd argue with whomever was keeping me from it that it's still MY truck. Nonetheless, if you won't get a fair value from the insurance claim for the add-ons that are easy enough to remove, and have an idea that you will use them...
Is there anything that says the aftermarket parts have to be on the rig when the inspector comes? Why not just wrench them off first if you think you'll use them again? At the very least you could sell them if you don't use them.
Built-in navigation or navigation on your phone? I use Google Maps via Android Auto and it used to show up there, now it doesn't under any circumstances.
Are you using the built-in navigation, or something like Google Maps on your phone? Maybe that's the difference? I used to see it while using Google Maps, now I don't. During the trial period I tried the built-in nav and didn't really like it.
Yes, thanks. I don't use the lanes assist regularly but have seen what you describe. I think it's the posted speed limit I'm used to seeing there. Looks as if the update nuked that.
