Any update on this? My bronco is at the dealership for multiple recall/warranty issues and this is one of them. Ford is sending them a new APIM. Mineās a 2022 with 8ā screen
Iām derailing for a moment but totally agree. Mine is a 4d 2.7 base Sasquatch with mod bumper and aux switches that was under $44k in ā22. I just saw an $85k heritage limited at the dealer. IMO itās fundamentally the exact same vehicle (engine, trans, diffs, lockers, transfer case, etc) with...
probably obvious, but odds are itās not worth it or they wouldnāt be able to sell it.
That said, I got great use out of the CPO warranty I had on a bmw (the big ones were all in the labor: oil pan gasket, rear main seal). The bronco is a new vehicle in a time where labor charges for anything is...
If Iām remembering right these come down from Canyonlands, right? I thought that was so cool. Spending the day on top in the park with a lot of people looking at the views downwards, then getting a chance to be alone and getting the complete opposite view looking back up at it all
However long youāll be there, double it. So much to do. Definitely get that guide to Moab book. Figure out difficulty level you are comfortable with and then choose from the top picks. The last day I was there we did Hurrah pass. Really easy but very beautiful. Top of the World was the most...
Thatās what Iām figuring. I pulled an oil sample for analysis anyways because of the very low coolant. I have a handful of recall and warranty things to get done so I plan to take it to ford and let them do an oil change š¬š Iāll tell them about the low coolant and exhaust and see what they say
Yeah good guess but thatās not it. the flap-o-later is intact and larger than this.
I found a matching piece of plastic in my garage. Nothing to do with the airbox. Must have fallen in one of the times I used the front of the engine compartment as a bench while working on something (I think...
Iām assuming condensation but help me ease my anxiety.
Coolant level is low and noticed this steam/smoke from the exhaust upon startup. Itās been humid recently and mid 60s this morning. Water dripped from exhaust so Iām assuming condensation, but let me know.
edit: @pimpjuice I saw you posted...
Sas drives nice on highway. It gets noisy but I think itās more wind noise than road noise. My driving style has changed moving from sports sedans to the bronco. Not sure if itās noise, the heft, cost to fill a tank, some combination, but you can now find me in the right hand lane cruising with...
