Did you even need to remove the crash bars?
I did not - they're still there. No issues - full turn either way without rubbing.
Keep in mind that I'm in flat Florida so I'm not doing any of the rock climbing that some of the folks on this forum talk about.

Well, mine are 33.5", so I should be good to go, but I probably will pull the crash bars if I have any doubts.

Does anyone foresee an issue with a Big Bend but with +30 offset rims with 295/70/17 tires? I’d rather not make any mods if I can avoid it.

It's the same as the OBX for the suspension, so it should be no problem. I have plenty of clearance even with the crash bars at full lock. I would have even better clearance without the crash bars, but I have been too lazy to pull them.

I am running 295/70R17 +30 offset.

Excellent. Thank you for the response.

Method 703 17 x 8.5 +35mm offset
I've been looking at a set of RTR 17x9 with offset of either 0 or +30.....

not sure what offset to go with now

looks beautiful. i'm not a tire expert by any means. would the width of the rim have any influence on the offset? like does a 17x8.5 poke more or come in less then a 17x9 with the same offset?

There is very little difference between the two…You will have a little more poke with the +30 vs +35….I wanted to RTR but could not find them in stock anywhere..That’s when I went with the method…

My last RTR rim, which I ordered last Thanksgiving, finally shipped this week.

Installed Wildtrak rims with 33.3’s on my Big Bend today. No lift or crash bar removal.
