OK, I know I'm not the only one that cannot stand mudflaps. The only place I have them, and accept them, are on my dually. Post your alternatives to these unsightly abominations.

I'm thinking of bed lining and then aftermarket rock rails and/or rocker panel armor.

There has to be a solution without the use of curb feelers.

Yeah, I wish they would come out with fender flares with integrated mud flaps --- ones that are pleasing to the eye.

A strip of vinyl on the rocker panels helps , along with side steps. On mine, the pinch seams are bedlined, rocker panels protected with vinyl (creatively) and I have step sliders. No rock chips so far.

Cool set up

I do have some ppf in those areas. So I hope the rock dings / chips are minimal

Just curious - what sliders did you go with?

Going to use bed liner on the pinch weld and bottom of the rockers at least.
In a few years probably work bedliner further up the body depending on how much of a beating it takes.

Also running the factory rock rails which probably help deflect some.

These are from Havok
I like those. I ordered a pair for my 2 door back in Sept but they're out of stock till ???. Havoc still has the 4dr version avail, their Amazon page shows 7 still in stock.

I plan to paint my pinch weld black, just because, then add some RCI sliders. I’m guessing the sliders will knock down most of the debris. OEM Sas wheels & tires will be taken off as soon as I get home.

If that doesn’t cut it I foresee a 2.9%chance that I would add some PPF a few inches above the pinch weld. Otherwise it is what it is.

Bed lining what, the entire sides?

I hate mud flaps too, but SOO much shit gets flung off the tires, really had no choice. EVERYTHING was taking a beating. And forget about keeping it clean.

I have zero poke with my wheel tire combo...fwiw.

Check out post #3. I'm not concerned with the splashing, just the rock dents/chips. Live in high desert mud generally is not an issue.

Got it.
Even with my Toyo's, these Broncos pitch rocks in odd ways. I can't imagine how bad the Goodyears are from all the stories.
I know I'm not the only one who has had an errant rock land on my hood:oops:. There wasn't another car within site at that point, LOL! Just slow cruising on a gravel back road. It's happened twice so far.

@Copperhorse73 , damn, that looks tough!

From what I've gathered from other post and pictures is that the stuff goes all the way up to the rear door handle.

So unless you plan on Line-Xing the entire door :)
