I cede your point entirely, it is actually impossible to find a modern steelie sized for a Bronco Sasquatch perfectly. All of that smart assery is correct,
until you look for steel wheels that have close to Bronco factory specs.
I haven't found them, unless you find 4.5" backspacing OK for the Bronco.
5.75, maybe.
I'd gladly enjoy a show of force of your Googlery prowess that turns up dozens of options for steelies that are "white" and of a wagon wheel or other classic design AND fit closely to the Broncos factory specs.
Hell, I'd even accept black or silver wheels as far as that goes. Some soft 8's, D's or wagon wheels will suffice.
per tiresize.com wheel calculator.
Using what I can gather from the Stig shots of the wheels and assuming the Base wheel is the same Ranger wheel, which has been stated elswhere.
16 x 7 = 55mm offset = 6.17" Backspace (Base)
17&18 x 7.5 = 55mm = 6.42" backspace (BB, BD & OBX)
17 x 8 = 55mm offset = 6.67" backspace (Badlands)
17 x 8.5 = 30mm off = 5.93" backspace (Squatch)
Disclaimer: you win if and only if no company made custom wheels for you at barely an increase in cost over the cheap-as-can-be steel wheel prices then you win this by eleventy bajillion percent.

Wow, made right here in the US of A as well! Nice!
FWIW, I cheated. You see, once I wanted a custom set of steel wheels made for my Thunderbird based on some pretty obscene specifications due to a static 3" drop and some wide ass tires while retaining the factory skirts so I did about 5 minutes of googlemalizing in the internet tunnels and found them. Had a custom set on my door step within a month. Assume production times now are longer.
