Yes. But I had completely forgotten about it until now. Thanks for the reminder.

Aluminum hard top with a sunroof and the ability to open the cargo area windows? I may have to replace my factory hard top if this turns out well.

I bet this will be heavy so I can do without the glass sunroof ... which will make it even heavier

This has been in the works for sometime. Just a guess. It will look like a johnboat and not a stamped roof panel with factory appearance. Hope I am wrong. Plus it’s another slant back design.

It’s going to sound like you’re inside of a tambourine when it rains! LOL

I did nto see any mention of pricing, so I will put the over/under right at $10k for the 4 door version with the operable side windows, wiper and defroster (if those are options). What say you B6G... over or under?

Over I'd say but probably not by much.

I bet it'll be loud.
My office has exposed ceilings, a light sprinkle sounds like a down pour

Well the site mentions "financing available", so that's a clue. But otherwise glad to see more options, hope it's a success.

My older Land Rover has an aluminum top and sliding side windows. It does have more of a johnboat look with rivets and all like @Area51BS suggested, lol.

But I will say the aluminum is the bomb in terms of no rust, even when paint is flaking off. And the top took it like a pro when the Land Rover rolled on it's side, no cracking/splintering like a composite top might.
