It’s a feature that comes with the optional 10-speed automatic upgrade on either the 2.3l or the 2.7l engine. Is the trail turn assist a standered feature or option
I agree. A front dig should be available on both auto and the manual. Basically it is allowing the driver to brake a wheel independantly. Some rigs had two brake handles for the rear that operated each wheel seperately.I don't see why this can't be with the Manual at all. The RS used a similar system for it's traction control and that was exclusively manual.
This. 100%As for how it works...
I'm sure it applies a single rear brake based on switch being activated... steering angle... which would tell the processor which way you wanted to go and apply the inside rear brake... throttle position... and most likely a couple other inputs. I'm also sure it's disabled over a certain speed.
So I had this long opinion typed out, super long( and it took awhile cuz I'm on my phone) and I had an epiphany, maybe it's simply due to it being available on only the upgraded front axle.I don't see why this can't be with the Manual at all. The RS used a similar system for it's traction control and that was exclusively manual.
