(I tried searching, but I didn't find anything.)

Probably a dumb question, but how do you attach a kinetic recovery rope, such as a Yankum rope, to the D-ring shackles on the Capable Bumper, since they don't unscrew? Do you have to use an intermediate soft shackle? If so, is that recommended and/or safe?

Use a Soft Shackle, best way and perfectly safe.

I would be 1.5x to 2x stronger soft shackle to the rope/strap/bungie cord. To bad we don't know what the strength of the factory shackle is you would want to stay under metal strength so the failure is a soft shackle not a flying metal shackle.

I really wish ford would take one of those Off-roadeo broncos and test to failure.
