Morimoto xrgb DRL wont turn on automatically help pls

So I got my xrgb headlights installed, but I can't get the color ring / drl to turn on automatically. I know they work because when I turn on headlights or beams, and when the car starts they turn on. But as soon as I put my switch in the auto/drl position I get absolutely nothing. Is this a fuse issue or something? Never had this problem with my signature headlights.

Are you checking them in drive or park? They aren’t going to come on in park.

Ok I am a doofus, you were correct, they work fine in drive
