So I was wiping down my engine of dust today and my rag must have knocked loose this little blue rubber cap. I heard it fall and was able to grab it. I have no clue where it came from, despite me searching the area for 10 min. See photos. The area circle in red is the area I was wiping down when I heard it fall. The only thing I could find that it fit perfectly on was the end of a hose clamp, but none of the other hose clamps have them so I ruled that out.
This is extremely minor and likely not even needed to go back on the engine, but my curiousity is killing me. Please help me! Any ideas? Thank you.
