It does. Bronco has 3 mode steering (comfort, normal, sport). Sport GOAT mode puts steering in sport mode which has the least amount of assist.
It does? The difference is either very minimal or nonexistent compared to other Ford. In a Mustang or F150, you can feel the resistance immediately and it visually shows you which steering wheel mode you're in.

Why not eco mode then? If economy is what you are going for.
I actually get worse mileage in eco mode (my driving style is obviously incompatible with Eco Mode).

OK, I admit I am old school and would not engage 4 wheel drive on dry pavement. I would think the same would apply to 4A and the wear it could cause. You are welcome to continue to use it, I was just stating what my service advisor suggested to not cause wear that would be considered not warranty covered since the truck is not advertised as an AWD model. I excuse myself from this conversation.

I really enjoy the increased acceleration (especially here in Memphis where it is needed for a bunch of reasons), but I mostly use it when on the freeway for shorter trips to save on the MPG.

I haven't seen anything that the rear locker engages under 25 MPH, so interested to see what if anything is actual on this.
Just visited Memphis for the whole Elvis experience and I definitely know what you mean ( for other reasons ). Was wondering why I saw tire marks at every intersection then I saw 3 dodge chargers fly by at a nice speed and it all came together.

Ummm, he's an idiot. However, if he's going to deny any warranty claims, I don't blame you for being conservative with it.

However, the manual is pretty clear that sport mode is for the street and that 4A is the default setting for sport mode.

Thanks for the input. I may try it to see what it does for me. I will report back with results.

How’s the assignment treating you?
Great mission… beautiful area… horrible management… lol. So I punched my ticket and retire in December.

I drove my 2 door manual HE in sport mode for 2 weeks. Yesterday and today I drove it in normal. The turbo comes on more naturally, smoothly, gradually, and less abruptly in normal. It builds power more like a naturally aspirated motor.

In sport mode, the turbo feels like it is off or on. The lag is more apparent and the boost is more jarring.

I also noticed that the steering feels more natural in normal mode. It feels artificially heavy in sport and more like a PlayStation steering wheel. Extra weight without any extra feedback.

So I think I will stick to normal and switch my vote. And I do want to get the Ford Performance tune.
