I just finished installing my new AGS Off Road Air Gate Kit. Not including running the wiring for the ARB, it took about 3 hours or so. I ordered the complete kit including ARB Twin mount, quick connect coupler with hose and mount and filter relocation kit. I'm extremely happy with the kit. Great job @AGSOFFROAD ! Good solid construction and an easy DIY installation. I have had the ARB Twin Compressor for about a year and got my BRaptor in Feb. It took me a while to commit to a permanent install solution, checking forums regularly for other options before going with the AGS kit.
I ran a #6 wire for the ARB's 40 amp circuit requirement through a rubber plug in the cargo floor behind the pass side panel in the cargo area, then down and across the frame to the driver's side and followed the existing harness along the driver's side frame up to the engine compartment where I previously installed a 6 circuit aux fuse panel. I used a bolt in the cargo area for the ground wires.
For the switch trigger wire I used the factory aux ready wire located behind the pass side cargo area panel and hooked up the necessary connections for the AUX6 upfitter switch position, since the ARB already has an internal relay this is a great option instead of mounting the switch that comes with the compressor.
For inflating and deflating I'm using a Thor's Lightning Rapid 4-Tire Air System which comes complete with a gauge and storage bag.
Combined, these 2 systems really make airing down and back up quick and easy. All 4 tires get the same pressure every time whether you're airing up or down, and the compressor is in a perfect, out of the way location where it's safe and gets enough ventilation for cooling.
In a nutshell, I highly recommend the ARB Twin and both kits for your BRaptor if you plan on using your machine for what it's built for. I've had an ARB Twin mounted in my '67 race Bronco for about 10 years and it's always been flawless. To me it's worth the extra coin for the most badass 100% duty rated on board air option out there.
