We found out last year that Ford plans to hybridize the next generation Ford Bronco and the automaker has just reconfirmed a hybrid variant will be offered for the 2021 Bronco.
This confirmation comes straight from Ford CEO, Jim Hackett, who reportedly confirmed the hybrid Bronco during an investor meeting.
Autoblog, who posted about Hackett’s statements, speculates that this Bronco variant will feature a version of the hybrid unit used by the Ford Explorer and Aviator hybrid, and that the hybrid version would be launched alongside the standard gas-only version.
