Now my camera is stuck in reverse ... Lol I'm positive I waterproofed every connection I made .

Yeah I've been in this group for some time now. And also have had the rear camera replaced. Last thing they had me do was update the firmware, but a few days after that it came back. Wait til you get to the point of the backup camera showing on the mirror (mind you, I never hooked that wire up, just taped it off).

I will say though, Wolfbox has been excellent with responding to emails and has always been willing to try to help. Customer Service has been top notch so far. I'll eventually get around to emailing them again about my latest issues, and hopefully they can eventually figure out a fix for it.

I had that happen on one or two of my drives. Had to unplug mirror and plug back in. Wolbox tried to tell me to seal the connection from wire to rear camera (electrical tape maybe). But when I told them it was in my spare, and showed them pictures, they said it's fine where it is. That's when they had my upgrade the firmware.


Honestly, I just think it's in the software or hardware of the mirror. And seeing so many people have these issues almost makes it normal at this point in time. Hopefully some day they figure it out and get it working correctly.

my connections have been sealed from day 1. so this is becoming weird for me lol.

I've had the same issues. It was stuck in reverse mode for weeks, then I messed with the connector to the back camera, and thought I had it fixed, but did not. I would unplug it and plug it back in and that worked for several minutes, until it didn't. Then I moved it around bending the wires over each other thinking it might be a short, then electrical taping it in position. That works for about 10 minutes. It's so annoying because I run 40s and have absolutely zero visibility out of the back. I have depended on it for years and it has been fantastic until now.

I’ve really enjoyed my G900 pro, but same issues with original rear camera. Order new one and likely mounting inside this time. I was all weather sealed as well. Thanks for everyone’s comments…very helpful

Had a G900 pro installed today. There is a local shop here in San Diego that actually fab their own mounting bracket for the rear camera for the Bronco Raptor. I have to say it is a 10/10. Super happy!
If anyone is SD interested I can post the shop info.

Had the gremlins this morning. 23 degrees out. Kept cycling through the different views, turned wifi on, off, shut done, restarted, cycled through the views again and then I got to work. Interested to see how it reacts tonight when I leave. Anyone in the colder climates figure out an answer?

I'm pretty sure it's the way the LCD and touch screen are made. Probably thinks theres a finger touching it
