We chose Wildtrak since we made a reservation. We realized that it has plastic front & rear bumper while Badlands has steel bumpers. We wonder if Wildtrak has steel behind and plastic bumper covers?

I think that my '87 Bronco II had one, but my subsequent Wrangler did not. I don't think it really has any practical purpose, just looks. Seems like they were more of an '80's thing for Broncos because I don't remember them being much of a thing for the EB.
They do keep the UV off the tire (like RV tire covers) but my buddy had one on his 87 Bronco to hide the ugly padlock system he had to prevent theft. That lock was a T-shaped bar that went through the center bore so it looks like that will be a no-go on the 6th gen due to the camera but a forged Sasquatch wheel with a $300 tire on it might be something you will want to lock down.

Not a Jeep owner but I’ve noticed locking lug nuts on the spare of some jeeps.

To all those hopping in this thread to say you're never getting a tire cover

To be fair, you asked for the opinion of everyone in your first sentence of your OP. Just sayin. ?‍♂

Here’s the quote.
“Do you guys have any desired tire covers?”

Guess I should have been hyper specific

"Do you guys (who care about tire covers) have any desired tire covers?”
Lol

People are trying to help the man...a lot of people here are new to the 4x4 game and you don’t want them heading down the wrong road....

I always kinda thought the covers were so you didn't get the black tire dust/gunk on your clothes when you were accessing the back. To me it looks more finished, keeps the spare clean and then the above so if I find one I like I'll be adding it.

I'll be getting one but I won't keep it on all the time. Those adventures into the woods, where ill be going on dirt roads or off roading, will be when I throw the cover on. Just to keep the spare clean. But then also because those will be my fun times and why not compliment the occasion with a fun tire cover
