Glad to see them surfacing a bit more often. Shadow Black will look great in certain combinations but really looking forward to body color. And white, I guess.

The Bronco at our local car show showed grey rails (yellow), but the other photo looks black (cactus grey). I really wish they would stop releasing cars that didn't have the actual colors/options that will be available. And look at how different those MIC's look!

My plan was to paint the mod top white but have concern about the blurb with the painted grill and mirror caps. I'm going BD Squatch and don't think that will look right at all now I did reach out to Zach at Granger and he said that its only showing the top in the system (not grille and mirrors) so I don't know, still haven't submitted my order with that being the holdup.

It’s just comical to see Ford continue to develop new bronco race trucks, the wart hog, etc. but can’t get this model into peoples hands.

Ford has more than ten people, different people and departments do different things. Race truck engineers don't necessarily work on production models.

The Engineering team from the 2021 Bronco has for the most part completed their work, the few that remain are working with suppliers or manufacturing to get 2021 production ready.

So some of the best and brightest, who finished their 2021 Bronco design tasks are then available to go work on future models, such as the Wart Hog.

Actually this is a win-win by Ford. Everyone complained about not liking the MIC top and were upset that there were constraints on the nicer mod top. The mod top on this post is consistent-not different-from previous photos and representations. But suddenly it is too nice! So if I get this right, you can order a shiny black mod top with MATHING shiny black mirrors and shiny door handles and shiny grille-ooorrrr you can get the more subdued top WITH subdued handles and subdued mirrors and a non-reflective grille-ooorrr MATCHING body color, mod top body color, body color door handles and body color mirrors, and somehow Ford screwed up?????? Not good enough? select a '22 and Ford will add a white top and multiple Special Edition choices because Ford listened to the bitching on this site. Quit belly aching and order your damn bronco like your burger-anyway you want it. Good thing many folks on this site did not have to buy a 1966 Bronco. As difficult as it may be, when you take delivery of your Bronco at least try and look like you are happy.

This might be the most sense I've seen in this thread yet. A modular top from the beginning was always going to be a black painted top and eventually white. Pictures come out and what does it look like? A black painted roof on a truck. Like did people on here want it to look like a car that was halfway waxed and had a dull look to it? No its going to be shiny like paint is

Ford...is it really that hard to make the top and all black trim items match in the same color!!!

Someone should asks a rep that simple question.

Reps don't know, they are not engineers and will make up some answer to get you to go away. Getting the colors correct and matching actually takes experienced engineers to know the tricks to do it right, learning those tricks takes experience.

Ford has laid off or retired many older, experienced engineers. When you are left with less experienced engineers they don't know how to get pantone colors to match, what surface texture to specify to achieve the desired look, etc. etc.

And most important, when you outsource things to different teams and companies, you must have one person in charge of overseeing it all so they can compare the different products to make sure they match each other. When you have cut back on personnel, rely on interns or new grads, and don't have a systems of project engineer to oversee things, you get this.

(the systems engineer is not the IT guy, in aerospace that is a seasoned, experienced engineer who works with all the engineering disciplines and oversees the product technical requirements.)

90% of the surface area in the pictures is glass....your MIC tops will have shiny glass too.
