Planning a trip over to Sarah's Creek and the surrounding areas this Sunday 3/27. Got another Bronco coming with me if anyone is interested. We will be meeting in Clayton in the morning sometime will lock times down etc soon.

Thanks for the invite! It’s about 2.5 hrs from me. I’m going to check on family weekend plans and get back to you. I’m itching to get exploring and would love to go with others. Have you been on this trail before? The photo of the rolled over truck has me wondering if i need some experience before venturing out.

@kevin.gt I have not but heard it was very easy really. There are easy trails in that area we can hit as a backup if its a little much.

I was on Sarah's Creek a few weeks ago, I stopped short a bit because the trail got a little tight, but its a very easy trail.

It's labeled as an easy trail on that alltrails listing but the photos seem to tell a slightly different story

2 hrs for me, not sure I'd want to commit the 4 hr round trip if it skews to the very chill and possibly boring side of the spectrum but I may be in.

@Gene Dios earls ford is right across the street and has a cool crossing. Also plenty of trails up there to have some fun on.

I've seen some recent pictures and videos showing some optional more difficult areas off Sarah's creek as well.

@wsdowns current plan it meeting at the BP in. Clayton at 9:30am. Hit some trails and maybe grab some lunch in Clayton or whatever. Maybe find another one after lunch.

I recommend bringing some snacks and drinks. We are meeting early enough to be back in Clayton by lunch but off-roading always takes longer than you think.

Yall have fun, too much of a hike coming from Cobb County to be up there by 9:30. I think I'd need to get out of bed around 6. Not sure I'm even sober yet at that time. I'm going to head out that way still with some coworkers to accompany on a basic trail ride... So I'm still itching to go hit something a little more exciting soon. Horseshoe gap looks cool.

@Gene Dios Beasley knob should be opening back up soon definitely more intense than any FSR. To get anything actually difficult you have to go to an off road park basically.

Just got home and the all-trails definitely lied. I would not consider that an easy trail

. Thankfully it wasn't wet. Still had to turn around at one point because it was getting tighter and more off-camber.

@nic I know I will be going out again soon. Im out of town this coming weekend but I hit the Mtns just about every-other weekend.
