My Bronco is on a train heading home right now. It is scheduled to land in Industry this Thursday.

I’m curious for others of you in the LA area, how long did it take for the Bronco to get from arrival at the rail yard in Industry to your dealer?

Thanks for any insight, I’m trying to manage my expectations 😂

Same here, It supposed to arrive between the 12 and 19 so 2 more weeks. I know that the switch to UP takes about 4 days. Meaning that this Thursday or Friday will be on the final rail car to Mira Loma Ca. Then to Gosh Hemet.

I got mine in January. It made it to the Mira Loma railyard on Jan 3rd, and it was at my dealership (Citrus Ford in Ontario) the next day. Hopefully it goes that quickly for you.

Man… I’m in San Diego and apparently my Bronco has been in the city for a couple weeks. Still hasn’t gotten to the dealership.

It only took 2 days to reach South Bay Ford from Mira Loma for me. It's impossible to manage expectations in this process, might as well get excited now!

congrats! hope you get it soon. when i got mine, my dealer told me from the yard in Mira Loma it could take anywhere from 1 to 21 days. I got lucky and mine rolled right off the train onto a truck.

How do you track with CXS?

@HotShotGamertv, this is copied from another thread.

First you will need the rail car letters and numbers. It is on the visibility report or DORA which is from the dealership. You MAY be able to get it from the SVT people but they seem often in a cranky mood and may tell you to get it from the dealer.

There are two major rail companies.

CSX is everything east of the mississippi
UP is everything west of the mississippi

But they all start out on CSX so once they have it in their system they will follow it all the way.

So, how do you track your truck on a railcar?

First and most important. Never talk to live personnel at the railroad! Only use automated phone system. If it attempts to transfer you to a live person please hang up. The railcar information we are provided by is given as a courtesy and if we call live personnel we may lose the access and ability to track.

CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example CN123456 all together
4. Listen for your update

it took about 2 weeks to arrive to the rail yard but that can vary a few days too depending on what they are unloading on the stops along the way. As noted, some dealers dont like being bugged for the rail car number. Plus tracking it can drive you crazy lol. when you see it stopped at one location for over a day without the train moving you wind up yelling at your monitor telling the train to get a move on hahaha Just anticipate that your bronco should get to the dealer in roughly a month and just be happy its on the way.
