Interesting. I'm assuming most people, like me, use their phone's navigation anyway. They can probably cut down on a lot of chip usage by eliminating navigation.

Isn’t the cell service in ocala really bad?? And the off road Nav (trail maps) that ford pass is supposed to release would be nice

I'm glad that I opted for the connected built-in nav. It isn't just about the functionality that can be provided by a phone app as cellular coverage isn't reliable in some parts. But one aspect that Ford did a really poor job of explaining the benefit is that connected built-in nav provides 3 yr of service. If/when the service lapses, the navigation will still work from the infotainment screen (just won't have updated maps). Those that don't have connected built-in nav still have 90 days service, but when it lapses, the infotainment screen "dumbs down" and nav is completely disabled. When I trade my Bronco in 3 yrs later, I don't want there to be less functionality to the infotainment screen.
